Why Americans Should Ditch Donald Trump and Joe Biden and Vote for Chase Oliver in November
Dump Trump and Biden! Chase Oliver offers genuine change and liberty for America.
As the 2024 presidential election gets closer, the American electorate faces a familiar yet troubling dilemma: choosing between Donald Trump and Joe Biden -- the lesser of two evils which it seems we have to deal with every four years. Both candidates have deeply polarized the nation, leaving Americans wishing for a “viable alternative”. Enter Chase Oliver, the Libertarian Party nominee, whose candidacy offers a break from the duopoly or at the very least your chance at a protest vote. Here's why voters should consider ditching Trump and Biden in favor of Oliver while giving the finger to the establishment power structure and the military-industrial complex.
Donald Trump's presidency was marked by unprecedented levels of political polarization. His rhetoric often inflamed social tensions and led to a heavily divided nation. A vote for Trump in 2024 is likely a vote for continued division and discord. Regardless of policy, universally Americans wished Trump would keep his mouth shut and keep his fingers off his social media keyboard, so we could focus on policy. Trump will continue to grow the government, continue the failed War on Drugs (even though he campaigned in 2016 to legalize marijuana, he did the opposite), and he will expand the surveillance state.
Trump's economic policies, were a mix, often favoring Americans' taxes while they paid more at the register. For example, the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act significantly reduced corporate tax rates and reduced most American federal income taxes, but his increase of tariffs (which Biden continued) negated much of those benefits for the every day worker. He should have reduced federal spending while reducing taxes.
The Trump administration's handling of the COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) pandemic was widely criticized. The lack of a cohesive federal response and mixed messaging on public health measures contributed to economic fallout. Trump's approach to the pandemic revealed significant flaws in crisis management and public health policy, and Biden continued the mismanagement of the pandemic. Trump surprised me when he caved in February 2020 to Fauci, rather than listen to others suggesting better responses to the coming pandemic which became official the following month when Trump declared a nationwide emergency and issued an additional travel ban on non-U.S. citizens traveling from 26 European countries due to COVID-19. We could have listened to other experts with rational plans of attack rather than sidelining them like the scientists who suggested balancing the protection of the vulnerable with less restrictive measures for the general population has gained validation.
While Joe Biden's administration has made strides in economic recovery, (after all, we had nowhere to go but up when he was elected) inflation and government spending remain a significant concern. The Federal Reserve's monetary policies, along with the insane amount of government overspending, have contributed to rising prices that damaged household budgets. Biden's economic policies, aimed at extensive government intervention, risk stifling economic growth and innovation.
Biden's foreign policy record has been way off the mark. The chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021 left a power vacuum that the Taliban quickly filled, which shows the administration's competence in handling international affairs. Also, Biden's approach to handling tensions with China and Russia lacks the decisiveness needed in today's volatile geopolitical climate. We continue to send billions of money that we are borrowing to Ukraine when we know Russia will be the ultimate winner of that war. And what will we have to show for the billions we’ve put in? Nothing but debt.
Despite promises of unity, Biden's term has not significantly bridged the partisan divide. His policies often face strong opposition from many Americans. His partisan demeanor and slamming of Trump and his supporters hampers effective governance and fuels public disillusionment with the political system.
Chase Oliver offers a fresh perspective untainted by the entrenched partisanship of Trump and Biden. As a Libertarian, Oliver champions individual freedom, limited government, and free-market principles. His candidacy provides a viable alternative for voters disillusioned with the current political landscape and his name will be on your ballot to vote for.
Oliver's platform is all about personal freedom. He is a strong advocate for reducing government overreach in both economic and personal matters. This includes support for criminal justice reform, ending the failed war on drugs, and protecting civil liberties. Oliver's commitment to individual rights stands in stark contrast to the often heavy-handed approaches of both major parties who want to dictate how each of us live our lives.
Oliver's economic policies emphasize fiscal responsibility and free-market solutions. He advocates for reducing the national debt by cutting unnecessary government spending and eliminating wasteful programs. By promoting economic freedom, Oliver aims to unleash the full potential of the American economy, fostering innovation and growth.
In terms of foreign policy, Oliver supports a non-interventionist approach. He believes in maintaining a strong national defense while avoiding unnecessary military engagements. This stance not only reduces the risk of costly conflicts but also aligns with the public's growing weariness of endless wars.
Oliver's platform is rooted in pragmatic solutions that transcend partisan politics. Whether it's advocating for school choice, supporting renewable energy through market incentives, or addressing healthcare through competition and innovation, his policies are designed to empower individuals rather than expand government control.
The 2024 election offers Americans a critical choice. Sticking with the status quo of Donald Trump or Joe Biden means enduring more of the same divisive, inefficient governance that has characterized recent years. Both Biden and Trump will increase the size and scope of the federal government, no matter their campaign rhetoric. Chase Oliver, on the other hand, presents a unique opportunity to break free from the partisan gridlock and move towards a more free, prosperous, and united America.
By voting for Oliver, Americans can signal their desire for meaningful change and a return to the principles of individual liberty and limited government. We must leave behind the polarizing and corrupt duopoly and embrace a candidate who truly represents the values and aspirations of a free and independent nation.
